Pueblo man pleads guilty in DUI wreck that killed 3 people, including 12-year-old
A Pueblo man recently pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide, according to district court records. Kohen Kyle, 32, pleaded guilty in late June to three counts of vehicular homicide in a plea deal with the 10th Judicial District Attorney's Office. In exchange for his guilty plea, all other charges were dropped.

A woman angry over children skateboarding at Denver's Confluence Park was caught on video chasing, grabbing and shoving the young boys. Before the video started capturing the action, the woman threw a skateboard belonging to eleven-year-old Charleston Davidson into the South Platte River, according to witnesses and an incident report from the Denver Police Department. The conflict happened on the evening of Friday, June 28, in Shoemaker Plaza, across from the flagship REI store.
Firework blows up in Colorado Springs man's hand causing serious injuries
Firefighters in Colorado Springs responded to 20 firework-related fires on and around the Fourth of July. Seven of those fires occurred in dumpsters where fire crews arrived to find fireworks going off in the dumpsters. About 10 p.m. on Wednesday, the Colorado Springs Fire Department received a call about a major firework injury in the Cheyenne Mountain area. When crews arrived, the man said he was holding a firework when it blew up in his hand. Firefighters said he lost most of his hand. The Colorado Springs Fire Department said that all fireworks are illegal in the city limits. Fire crews said they expect the fireworks calls to continue through the weekend and that "These incidents are one too many and can all be prevented."
