The Essential Air Service (EAS) program is getting more interesting with the introduction of new airlines trying to snap up these EAS contracts like Breeze and JetBlue, the latter of which has won a contract. DENVER — Ed Greene has decided to retire from Denver media, for good. On Friday, July 25, Greene announced his retirement during his final appearance on 9NEWS Mornings. "It's time to retire for me," Greene said on the 9NEWS Mornings broadcast Friday. "You know, 47 years doing the weather, nobody has done sports or news or weather longer than that.
