Major Drug Bust: Two Arrested in Erie County Narcotics Investigation
(WNY News Now) – Buffalo – Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announces that 42-year-old Dewayne A. Vass of Getzville was arraigned on Saturday morning before Buffalo City Court Judge Diane Y. Wray, also acting as an Amherst Town Court Justice, on two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree (Class “A-I” felonies), four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (Class “B” felonies), one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony), and six counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class “A” misdemeanors).

State Police arrest a man for public lewdness in Walmart
LOCKPORT, N.Y. — The New York State Police say they arrested a 45-year-old Lockport man for alleged public lewdness while in the electronics section of Walmart. Troopers were called to the Walmart on South Transit Road in Lockport on July 15 just after 9pm for a report of a man watching inappropriate videos on a display phone in the store's electronics section, and acting inappropriately while sitting in an electronic scooter.
Buffalo Police provide update in fatal domestic incident
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police have provided an update into the investigation of a fatal domestic incident that resulted in the death of two people. On Saturday, police were called to a home on the 700 block of Ashland Avenue for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived on scene, they found a 24-year-old woman stabbed and slashed. She was taken by ambulance to ECMC where she later died.

LOCKPORT, N.Y. — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is looking for the community's help in locating 13-year-old Bra'Onna Gibson. Bra'Onna went missing in the area of Old Niagara Road and Lake Avenue in Lockport. She was last seen wearing a pink hooded shirt, and black sweatpants according to police.

2 students stabbed following large fight in downtown Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police are investigating an incident that ended with two students being stabbed. Buffalo Police were called to Main and Mohawk streets around 12:30 p.m. for a report of a large fight. Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said about 10 juveniles were allegedly assaulting another juvenile when that juvenile pulled out a knife and stabbed two of his attackers. One of the teens stabbed had to undergo surgery and is currently in stable condition.

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that Shawnquilla N. Armstrong, age 32, of Niagara Falls, was sentenced today in Niagara County Court by Judge Caroline Wojtaszek to serve the next ten years in State Prison for her conviction of two counts of Attempted Assault in the First Degree. Armstrong was sentenced to serve five years for each count, to run consecutively for a total of ten years.
