State education officials could potentially do away with the Regents exam, as part of its vision to provide multiple pathways to a high school diploma. The changes, if implemented, could alter the existing graduation requirements for public schools across the state — including in Rockville Centre, where alternative pathways such as Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate diplomas are already offered.
12 Gates Brewing Closes Ellicottville Location, 12 Gates of EVL
Williamsville’s 12 Gates Brewing has closed their satellite location in Ellicottville, 12 Gates of EVL, located at 14 Washington St. In a statement posted to their social media, 12 Gates said that they will not be renewing the lease for 12 Gates of EVL and thanked their customers for supporting the location. They add that any unused 12 Gates of EVL gift cards will be honored at our Williamsville taproom.

We had a music-filled, action-packed and far too short time together, and a lot of you were a part of that time - thanks to everyone who came out to the Classic Vinyl Live @ the Sportsmen’s Tavern show celebrating Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers’ Damn the Torpedoes, and the Music Matters @ the Harbor Walk Buffalo Dead ’79 gig, which also happened to be a joint birthday celebration for myself and Declan.
