Flood Recovery Rebuild Team Updates
As the FEMA timeline approaches, the City’s Rebuild Team and Project Management Team from Stevens & Associates hit the gound running preparing the preliminary designs for rebuilding and flood-proofing City Hall, the Fire House, Public Works, and the Police Department building. FEMA requires preliminary site planning within 18 months following a disaster to determine reimbursement eligibility. There are a series of steps the City needs to take in order to be eligible for disaster recovery funding to rebuild. We will be providing monthly updates on the rebuild process.
