The number of Texas deaths after Hurricane Beryl came ashore and knocked out power to millions of residents climbed to at least 36 on Thursday as officials confirmed more people whose cause of death was at least partially due to heat-related causes in homes left without air conditioning.The latest confirmed deaths were nine in Fort Bend County, including four that were at least partially attributed to hyperthermia, according to the medical examiner's office. Rosenberg opens green waste collection site through Saturday
ROSENBERG, Texas (CW39) – The Green Waste Collection Site, established for citizens and businesses to drop off vegetative debris from Hurricane Beryl, will close to the public on Saturday, July 27 at 5 p.m. Citizens and businesses that have debris, that they would like to dispose of prior to curbside collection, have the option to use the site from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through Saturday.
