Mass. State Lottery: winning $100,000 300X scratch ticket sold in Attleboro
A winning “300X” Massachusetts State Lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold at a lottery and smoke shop on the Rhode Island border on Tuesday. The $30 scratch ticket was purchased at Lucky 95 Lottery and Smoke Shop on Washington Street in Attleboro. The shop is located on Route 1 less than a fifth of a mile north of the Rhode Island border, opposite Pawtucket and blocks away from I-95.
Willie Nelson Announces Last-Minute Concert Cancellation
Willie Nelson has pulled out of his scheduled Tuesday performance on the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, the latest in a string of cancellations. Today I am sharing this photo from my personal collection. This year’s parade had a little bit of everything – marching bands, drum bands, horses, clowns, state champions, theater groups. and local organizations. A few members of the community were also honored – Scott McMillan was Grand Marshall, Janine Suchecki was Veternan of the Year, Bob Curly was Hinghamite of the Year, and Garbriella Nardello for having the winning design of the parade buttons. Some new groups participated this year including Hingham’s Center for Active Living and 143 Veternary Services marched with parade regulars like Hingham Militia, Friends of the Country Club, and the Shriner’s clowns.
