Crews respond to deadly two-vehicle crash in East Earl Township
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Police and fire crews responded to a two-vehicle crash in East Earl Township that was declared fatal, according to Garden Spot Fire Rescue. Fire crews and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Shirk Road and Peters Road for an accident with entrapment around 5 p.m., Garden Spot Fire Rescue stated on Facebook.

9-year-old Amish girl in Pennsylvania dies after being dragged by horse
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A 9-year-old Amish girl in Pennsylvania died after being dragged down a road by a horse. The Lancaster County Coroner's Office said the girl died on Tuesday after her horse pulled her down a road in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, around 10:30 a.m., LancasterOnline reported. The newspaper reported that the girl was leading her horse when something spooked the animal, causing it to pull her down the road. The coroner said, according to LancasterOnline, that the girl got caught in the horse's reins. The girl was taken to a local hospital, where she died. Her cause of death reportedly was multiple traumatic injuries, and her death reportedly was ruled an accident. The 9-year-old girl has not been identified. LancasterOnline reported that Lancaster County has more farm-related deaths than any other county in the Keystone State. The county is Pennsylvania's leading agricultural producer.

Brothers Charged In Murder
(Reading, PA) -- Two brothers are facing charges for a fatal shooting in Reading earlier this year. Seventeen-year-old Jonielle Cruz and 19-year-old Luis Santos-Cruz are accused of killing Christian Disla on April 1st. Jonielle Cruz is in custody, but his brother is still at large. Anyone with information on Luis Santos-Cruz's whereabouts is asked to contact Reading P-D.

Police are investigating a Thursday night shooting after one person was found wounded in Lancaster County. Lancaster police responded at 9:35 p.m. to the 600 block of Ocean Avenue, where they located a person suffering from gunshot injuries, according to a press release.
