Fundraiser to Support Children of Montclair Schools Superintendent
The Montclair community is coming together to support the family of Montclair School Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Ponds, by starting a college fund for his three sons. A GoFundMe started by Tessie Thomas and shared by Montclair Schools PTA groups has raised more than $40,000 as of Thursday afternoon. The presidents from New Jersey City University (NJCU) and Essex Community College signed an express transfer program memorandum of understanding (MOU) yesterday.
