Rite Aid has been closing hundreds of stores since it filed for bankruptcy in October. Of the 699 stores that the company has announced in bankruptcy filings that it is closing, 80 are in Rite Aid’s home state of Pennsylvania. The pharmaceutical company was based in East Pennsboro Township for decades and now calls Philadelphia home.

A North Jersey woman was among two people killed in a plane that crashed in Maine Thursday, hours after departing a Morris County airport, authorities said.
