Denville Public Schools Release Supply List For 3 Schools
DENVILLE, NJ - Denville Public Schools has released school supply lists for several schools, for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The three schools include Valleyview Middle School, Riverview Elementary School, and Lakeview Elementary School. Supply lists are organized by grade level. New Police Chief Appointed At Roselle Council Meeting
ROSELLE, NJ - A new police chief was appointed at Wednesday’s Roselle Common Council Meeting. Roselle Police Captain Helder Freire, who was acting Police Chief after former chief Stacey Williams was relieved of his duty, received the full-time appointment in a resolution passed by the Council. NJ looks for ideas on how to use two prisons set to close
The Murphy administration has made systematic changes over the last seven years to reform how young people interact with law enforcement in New Jersey. As one part of that effort, the state announced in 2017 that two youth detention facilities would close — the New Jersey Training School for male juveniles and the Female Secure Care and Intake Facility. To help brainstorm the most effective use of those spaces, New Jersey’s Attorney General Matt Platkin said his office is creating a new working group to come up with those ideas.
