Man arrested for selling cannabis to underage person in Coram
Suffolk County Police today arrested an employee for allegedly selling cannabis to an underage person at a Coram business on June 29. Following an investigation by Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers a compliance check was conducted at Koncept Smoke Shop, located at 35 Middle Country Road, and an employee of the store, Ahmad Subhan, was arrested for allegedly selling cannabis to an underage person at 1:55 p.m. Officers also seized a large quantity of cannabis and cannabis oils from the business.
Silver Alert issued for missing 35-year-old Centereach man
Suffolk Police issued a Silver Alert tonight for a missing Centereach man who suffers from psychiatric disorders. James Shurman, 35, was last seen at about 4 a.m. on Friday, June 28, leaving his home at 54 Park St., police said. He was in a gray 2015 Chrysler 200 with New York license plate, KRP 8819. Family members reported him missing to cops at 10:55 a.m. today.
