INDIANAPOLIS, IN. (WLNS) – The college football season is quickly approaching and while the wait and anticipation builds, college football fans have been able to play games ahead of the season.

EA Sports released ‘College Football 25’ officially on Friday, July 19, which is the first college football video game the company has released since 2013.

On Wednesday, the three players Michigan State brought to Big Ten Football Media Days, Nate Carter, Jack Velling, and Dillon Tatum, got to play the game.

Carter and Velling were on a team, playing with MSU, and faced Tatum, who was also playing with MSU.

“We won 14-0,” Velling said. “Nate and I both had a touchdown. I had a pick with Dillion.”

Tatum said, “Tell me why I threw a pick to myself. To my literal self and almost took it back to the house. So, it’s like, it’s a blessing at the end of the day and just excited about how the game continues to get better.”

The real games begin on Friday, August 30 for the Spartans and fall camp begins on Tuesday, July 30.
