PROSPECTS HAVING A GOOD DAY
STRUTHERS OH- In a thrilling Sunday matchup in the 16U Class B Baseball, the Prospects overpowered Ballistic with an 11-2 victory. Isaiah Burgess was on a tear with three hits and three runs. Vincent Weeks chipped in with two hits and an RBI. Seth Domes smacked a double, driving in two runs. Brandon Toot blasted a triple, bringing in a run and scoring twice himself. Elliot Gebhardt handled the mound, going five innings, giving up seven hits and two runs while fanning eight.
PROSPECTS SET SAIL TO VICTORY
STRUTHERS OH- In an 18U Class B Baseball showdown on Sunday, the Prospects dominated Eagle Wear with a 14-5 victory. Dominic Santee crushed it with a double, an RBI, and scored a run. Evan Tuttle was on fire, racking up three hits, including two doubles, an RBI, and three runs. Grady Terzola had a big day with two hits, a double, two RBIs, and three runs. Reggie Danko added two hits, two RBIs, and a run. On the mound, Terzola pitched five solid innings, giving up just two hits and one run while striking out six for the win.

During the 2024 outdoor season, the Youngstown State men's and women's track and field teams sent two athletes to the NCAA Championships, had 11 athletes compete in 12 events at the NCAA East Prelims, picked up their fifth straight men's title and had a top-20 finisher at the U.S. Olympic Team Track and Field Trials.

STRUTHERS OH- Athletix bounced back on Saturday in Class B action, taking down Eagle Wear 10-2. CJ Frasco and Alex Solema led the charge at the plate, each driving in a run and scoring once. Cody Burgert added an RBI and crossed the plate twice, while Jake Shumate went 2-3 with an RBI. Evan Tice chipped in with 2 RBIs to cap off the offensive onslaught.
Canfield lacrosse player chosen for All- American team
Canfield junior Charlie Boris has been selected to represent the Midwest on the All America Lacrosse team for a second year in a row. For the last 18 years, the All America Lacrosse Tournament has helped showcase some of the top lacrosse talent in the nation in front of the best college programs in the country. Each division competed within itself at the tryouts and those players are selected by an evaluation team. Once selected, the teams travel to the main event to determine which region is the best.
