The City of Lake Geneva is about to be without a city administrator, arguably the most powerful of all the city leaders. The personnel committee has been busy as many important department heads have left for various reasons. The Harbor Master, Steve Russell, has recently left that position and was replaced. Eric Nicia is the new Harbor Master of Lake Geneva. Eric is a well-known and liked local resident and is expected to be a great fit for the position.
Manufacturer plans new facility in Pewaukee
Uzelac Industries Inc., an industrial equipment supplier based in Greendale, shared plans for a nearly 40,000-square-foot industrial building in Pewaukee. Brookfield-based Briohn Building Corp. submitted plans for a 39,103-square-foot precast concrete building at the northwest corner of Lindsay Road and Wilhar Road, according to a city plan commission agenda. The company requested a rezoning of a residential zone to industrial and to combine three parcels into a 6.7-acre lot.
