Ohio’s casinos, racinos report uptick in May gambling revenue
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Ohio’s casinos and racinos saw an uptick in gambling revenue and had their best May since 2021. The state’s 11 casinos and racinos brought in a combined $204 million in May, up from $196 million in 2023 and $202 million in 2022. The record for the month was set in 2021, at $209 million, according to data from the Ohio casino control and lottery commissions.

Just hours after a fire caused damage to the Torch Club Bar and Grille on Salt Springs Road in Youngstown, the building is being demolished.
