El Paso Chihuahuas - Off Day

San Antonio Missions - Off Day

Fort Wayne TinCaps - Off Day

Lake Elsinore Storm - Off Day

    ACL Padres - No Game

DSL Padres Gold (Won 6-2 vs DSL Pirates Black) (24-25 on the season)
    Jesmaylin Arias - 2 for 3, Game-Tying RBI Single
Santiago Contreras - 2 for 3, Two RBI
    Dariel Polanco - 5 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 3 K

In a seven-inning matchup vs the Pirates Black, the Padres Gold looked to their major league affiliate for their method of winning in this ballgame. Starter Dariel Polanco continued his recent dominance, pitching five strong innings of one-run baseball. Polanco has not allowed an earned run in his last thirteen innings of work.

The Padres Gold offense scored early, with Jason Hernandez driving in Santiago Contreras on a ground ball to third base. Facing a 2-1 deficit going into the final inning of play, the Padres Gold rallied in the top of the seventh. Estiven Giron and Yimy Tovar drew walks, and Kevin Hacen was hit by a pitch. Bases loaded, no outs. Right fielder Jesmaylin Arias tied the game on an RBI single, and Santiago Contreras delivered the go-ahead base hit to center field, scoring two runs, with a third coming in on a throwing error from Pirates reliever Victor Trejo. Contreras would come around to score on a wild pitch, capping the five-run frame for the Padres Gold. Reliever Angel Sanchez came on in the bottom of the seventh and struck out two to seal down a 6-2 Padres Gold victory.

DSL Padres Brown Lost 1-5 vs DSL Reds) (14-36 on the season)
    Yorvin Morla - 3 for 4, Double
Endy Rios - 1 for 3, Run Scored
    Abraham Agramonte - 4 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 4 BB, 1 K

A four-run sixth inning was not enough for the Padres Brown to take down the DSL Reds, who scored ten runs. Abraham Agramonte started for the Padres and tossed four innings of two-run baseball. His command struggle continued from his last outings with the Padres Gold, as he walked four in the game while striking out only one. Still, the 19-year-old right-hander delivered a serviceable start when all was said and done. The Reds offense teed off on the Padres Brown’s relievers, however, putting the game seemingly out of hand with a four-run fifth against reliever Edinson Hernandez, who walked three batters while recording only two outs.

Entering the bottom of the sixth with a 7-1 deficit, the team clawed back with a four-run frame of their own. Endy Rios would double, driving in a run to start the scoring. Juan Martinez was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, and Fabian Alcantara followed up with a bases-loaded walk. Another run would come across on a wild pitch from Reds reliever Bryan Salgado, and just like that, the Padres Brown ended the inning down by just two runs. The momentum didn’t last, as Leandro Solano allowed a two-out, three-run home run to Reds slugger Anthuan Valencia to put the game out of slam range. The Padres Brown loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the seventh, but Dayquer Alfonzo hit into a game-ending double play to render the comeback incomplete, as the Padres Brown lost 10-5.
