Police: Rollover crash on Route 28 knocks out power, injures 3, 1 charged
A recent Massachusetts crash has left several injured and one charged. According to police, at just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning, Yarmouth Police Officer Joshua Barber was patrolling Route 28 in West Yarmouth. It was then, a car travelling extremely fast, coming the opposite direction, left the road, crossed over the sidewalk and crashed through a utility pole sending it spinning onto its roof. Officer Barber immediately radioed dispatch and advised of the crash.

Firefighters extricate driver after crash in Eastham
EASTHAM – Firefighters had to extricate a driver from a traffic crash in Eastham. The collision happened about 8:30 AM on State Highway (Route 6) near South Eastham Street. Three people were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Eastham Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Woman seriously injured in crash on Route 6 ramp in Yarmouth
YARMOUTH – A woman was seriously injured in a traffic crash in Yarmouth. The collision happened shortly before 1:30 AM on the exit 72 onramp from Willow Street to Route 6. The vehicle crashed into the woods and firefighters had to use chainsaws to reach the occupants. The seriously injured victim was taken to Cape Cod Gateway Airport and flown by MedFlight to an off-Cape trauma center. A second victim was transported to Cape Cod Hospital. Mass State Police are investigating the crash.
Small fire damages exterior of house in Dennis
DENNIS -A small fire damaged the exterior of a house in Dennis. Firefighters were called to Beach Hills Road about 7:45 PM Saturday evening. A bystander had used a garden hose to knock down the fire. Firefighters checked for any fire spread inside the house. Eversource was called to the scene. No injuries were reported. Further details were not immediately available.
