Easton man charged with sex abuse of minor

EASTON — An Easton man has been arrested for sexual abuse of a minor.

According to a news release from the Easton Police Department, Carlos Perez Aldana, 36, was arrested Tuesday on charges of sex abuse of a minor, fourth-degree sex offense, false imprisonment and four counts of second-degree assault.

The investigation, which was in reference to the possible sexual abuse of a child, was in partnership with the Talbot County Department of Social Services Child Protective Services.

Police said it was determined through forensically interviewing a child at the Talbot County Children’s Advocacy Center that Perez Aldana had sexually assaulted the child in May. Police said the child was able to get away from Perez and told adults, who reported it to Easton police.

After being arrested, Perez Aldana was transferred to the Talbot County Detention Center.
