    Noll added to UWEC women's basketball staff

    The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s basketball coach Tonja Englund has announced the hiring of Jackson Noll as the team’s assistant coach.

    Noll comes to Eau Claire with a wealth of basketball knowledge from his time as the Team Wisconsin AAU Basketball Club Coordinator, Recruiting, and Skills Director for four years. Noll also served as the executive assistant to the Wisconsin Amateur Athletic Union since 2020.

    “I have grown up on the basketball court as the son of a longtime college coach. I have the utmost respect for NCAA Division 3 basketball and the WIAC. (Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). Having played in the WIAC, I understand firsthand that the level of competition here is the best in NCAA Division 3” Noll said. “I am excited to work with one of the great coaches in women’s basketball, Tonja Englund, at one of the great institutions, UW-Eau Claire. The level of academics and facilities at UWEC is second to none.”

    The four-year letter winner at UW-Stout recorded 250 total points and helped the Blue Devils to their first winning season in nine years in 2021-22. Noll was also involved with Student Senate during his college career for four years serving as a Student Senator, one year as the Director of Legislative Affairs, and was a representative for more than five University committees.

    The Cuba City, Wisconsin, native received his bachelor’s degree in Applied Social Sciences from UW-Stout this past spring. In high school, Noll played for legendary Wisconsin coach Jerry Petitgoue and went 25-0 in his senior year. Noll earned WBCA and PrepHoopsWI All-State, was a three-time All-Conference player, and was named to the WBDA All-Star team during his high school career.
