Kids from Wisconsin bringing summer show to Stevens Point Thursday
STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW) - Some of the state’s most musically and theatrically talented students will take the stage Thursday night in Stevens Point. Kids from Wisconsin is a traveling group that makes stops all summer long. Nearly 40 talented kids, including a live band, make up the show. The summer show theme this year is Larger Than Life. 1 dead in farming accident west of Wausau
A resident at a farm in the town of Marathon is dead after being struck by a cow and pushed into a feed fence, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department. Nieves Sanchez-Tezohua died the morning of July 16 at a farm on Ahrens Road. Police say Sanchez-Tezohua joined her boyfriend, who is a farm employee, while he was working in a barn and was struck by the cow. A veterinarian at the farm attempted lifesaving measures until deputies and paramedics arrived.
