Brown today announced the guilty verdict of Tony Horne Jr., 43, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, on all charges, including the illegal possession and sale of a regulated firearm, relating to a long-term investigation into drug traffickers operating in and around areas in Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City, Maryland.

Government House Evacuated Due to Smoke Conditions
After a report of a smoke condition at Government House on Friday, the staff was evacuated, officials announced. The Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to investigate the source of the smoke. The Government House Executive Security Unit concluded that there was no fire, and all staff members were reported safe and accounted for, according to the press release.

BALTIMORE- Temperatures continue to be brutal for Saturday. Temperatures will only rise from here with the upper 90s expected for the day ahead.Saturday is a FIRST ALERT DAY for intense and potentially dangerous heat. An excessive heat warning has already been issued for the region and continue through early evening. Some of the state will see heat advisories linger for this timeframe as well.Temperatures range in the middle to upper 90s for highs today, but temperatures will feel about 10 degrees hotter.
