    Edison Issues Flash Flood Warning

    EDISON, NJ - The township has issued a flash flooding warning on Sunday until 7:45 PM, according to a nixle alert. The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a flash flood warning across Middlesex, Somerset, Morris, and Hunterdon County.

    According to the township, an estimated one to two inches of rain are possible over the next several hours. Flooding can be expected in municipalities near creeks, ponds, lakes, streams, and low-lying areas.

    Edison Township reminds residents to please avoid driving through flooded streets and roadways and to follow all posted traffic detours.
