I-26 to close overnight this week to move eastbound traffic onto new concrete
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Parts of Interstate 26 will close overnight the week of July 22 so crews can work to shift eastbound traffic onto new concrete. The North Carolina Department of Transportation says each night this week, a section of the interstate will close no earlier than 8 p.m. then reopen by 6 a.m. the next day.
