    Williams common pleas

    Seth Mearse, 37, Edon, appeared for sentencing on charges of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; escape, a third-degree felony; and vandalism, a fifth-degree felony. He was given a 59-month prison term. Charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, each a second-degree felony, were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

    Isreal Ramos, 46, Holgate, appeared for sentencing on charges of aggravated possession of drugs and illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse on the grounds of a detention facility, each a third-degree felony. He was placed on community control for three years, fined $1,500 and given a suspended 180-day sentence in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

    Peter Moses, 47, Edgerton, pleaded not guilty to five counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, first- and second-degree felonies, including one charge with a major drug offender specification; four counts of possession of drugs, first- and second-degree felonies; trafficking in cocaine, a first-degree felony; and possession of cocaine, a first-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 13 and his bond was continued.
