Deputies investigating suspicious Beaufort County fire
BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Deputies in one Eastern Carolina county are investigating a suspicious fire that happened Sunday. Beaufort County deputies say they were called to a home on Minor Run Road in Edward about an ongoing domestic dispute. When they arrived, they found an unoccupied mobile home on the property on fire.

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office say two people are now behind bars facing multiple charges following a parolee check on Sunday, June 30. Probation officers and deputies searched a home on NC 43 S in Vanceboro Sunday evening at approximately 7:21 pm where they seized three firearms, over 4 grams of cocaine and digital scales.
