Person Found Hanging From Tree in Antioch Park
On Monday, the Antioch Police Department responded to a report of a person who was found hanging from a tree in a local park. The person was discovered just before 9:00 am at Yellowstone and Calaveras Cir in the City of Antioch. Police have since cautioned off the area and aware awaiting for the county coroner to arrive on scene. A chair was tipped over next to the person.

Fight at party turns deadly shooting in Richmond, California
RICHMOND, California — A party turned deadly Sunday night when a fight led to a fatal shooting, according to the Richmond Police Department. On June 23, 2024, at 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Upon arrival, they found two victims with gunshot wounds. One victim, Elizander Narvaez Fernandez, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the second victim was treated at a local trauma center and is expected to survive.

On June 30, Vallejo police successfully extricated a domestic violence victim and her child from a perilous situation. Responding to an emergency call, the Vallejo Police Department (VPD) was informed that a woman was being forcibly held inside her Maher Court residence by armed suspect Cordell Shaw. One man was killed and another person was injured in a shooting in East Oakland on Monday afternoon, police said.Officers responded around 3 p.m. to the 900 block of 105th Avenue and pronounced an Oakland man with multiple apparent gunshot wounds dead on the scene, police said. 2 dead in separate homicides in Oakland over the weekend
Oakland police are investigating two homicides from Saturday evening and early Monday morning. The first happened just after 7 p.m. in the 8400 block of Edes Avenue in East Oakland on Saturday. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a person who had been shot at least once, police said. The victim, whose name wasn't released, was taken to the hospital, where the person died of injuries. The second homicide happened at about 12:45 a.m. Monday on the 8400 block of Enterprise Way, just a few blocks away from the first shooting. The victim, a Hayward man whose name wasn't released, was taken by paramedics to a hospital, where he died. Police didn't say if they think the shootings are connected. Person dies of injuries from residential fire in San Francisco Tenderloin District
One person died following a residential blaze early Monday morning in San Francisco's Tenderloin District, according to fire officials. Around 5:45 a.m., the San Francisco Fire Department said a one-alarm fire in the area of Leavenworth and Geary streets left an occupant in critical condition. Nearly an hour later, fire officials revealed that the victim had died due to the severity of the injuries. "Law enforcement and fire investigators remain on scene to determine a cause of this fire," the fire department said.
