PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman is badly injured after being hit by a suspected drunk driver overnight in Phoenix. Phoenix police said officers responded to the crash around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday near 28th Avenue and McDowell Road. Officers found the woman on the ground with a vehicle stopped nearby.

PHOENIX — Power was largely restored around metro Phoenix on Monday morning after storms knocked out electricity for thousands of customers the night before. However, around 200 people went without power between 67th and 59th avenues as well as Cholla Street to Olive Avenue early Monday morning, according to the Salt River Project. PHOENIX — An elderly man is dead after he was pulled from a backyard pool in Ahwatukee, the city's fire department said. Phoenix firefighters were dispatched to the area of 48th Street and Elliot Road for reports of a drowning. When crews arrived, they found an elderly man who was pulled out of a backyard pool by his family, unconscious and not breathing.
