    El Paso resident claims $1 million Texas lottery ticket

    EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — An El Paso resident claimed a winning ticket worth $1 million in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game, $1,000,000 Crossword, the Texas Lottery said in a press release Thursday, July 18.

    The ticket was purchased at Fast Market located at 629 S. Yarbrough Drive in El Paso’s Lower Valley and the person elected to remain anonymous.

    “This was the first of six top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game. $1,000,000 Crossword offers more than $229.3 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.41, including break-even prizes,” the Texas Lottery said.
