The Lebanon R3 School District has named Shepherd’s Pack as a difference maker for the district. According to a statement from the Lebanon R3 School District, With ongoing support from Shepherd’s Pack, countless students in our district have been positively impacted, making a significant difference in thousands of lives over the years. Representatives for Shepherd’s Pack Cindy Walters, Susan Atteberry, and Ron Atteberry were recently recognized as Difference Makers by the Board and Administration. Shepherd’s Pack, a longstanding group within the Lebanon Community, has been providing food-filled bags to students to take home on weekends for 17 years. What began with 25 bags has grown exponentially, supporting thousands of kids in Laclede County Schools just in the last year. Their unwavering dedication ensures no child goes hungry, and we deeply appreciate their commitment to our students’ well-being!
Park Board updated on construction
The Lebanon Park Board discussed its May financial report and received updates on its summer programs as well as construction taking place in various parks at its monthly meeting Wednesday. Parks Director John Shelton presented the department’s May financial report, which he described as being positive. “We should be in very good financial shape to start next season,” Shelton said.
