Rochester Man Ordered to Pay $125K Restitution For Employee Theft
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was sentenced today for stealing thousands of dollars from his employer. 44-year-old Blake Allyn Schaefer earlier entered guilty pleas to two felony theft charges in Olmsted County Court. He was accused of embezzling tens of thousands of dollars from an Oronoco area business while he was employed as the company's Chief Financial Officer.
PossAbilities starts new support group for LGBTQ+
ROCHESTER, Minn.-PossAbilities is starting a new group on July 23rd for those who identify as LGBTQIA and have a disability. PossAbilities direct support professional Jamie Zahn says, "We created this group to provide a safe space for individuals with disabilities who also identify as LGBTQ+ to come together, connect and communicate and just be in a safe space."
Search Warrants Turn Up Haul of Stolen Property
UNDATED (WJON News) -- Law enforcement agencies in West Central Minnesota released information Tuesday about a number of stolen items that they recovered last month.
