I don't know about you, but I am always keeping my eyes peeled for something new here in Bismarck and Mandan. It's easy and unfortunate to talk about the businesses that have had to shut their doors for good. Most of them for the common reason - it's hard to keep employees - maybe it's getting a little easier, but it wasn't too long ago when some people didn't want to find work - content on staying home. I'm hoping that trend has ended because new places that are opening around town could use some help - like this one under construction in the Kirkwood Mall...
VCPS Seeking $500K COPS Grant to Enhance Safety
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Public School District installed more security cameras back in 2018 thanks to a $30-thousand-dollar grant. Superintendent Josh Johnson said safety and security remain a top priority, so the school district applied for a $500-thousand-dollar COPS grant to enhance the safety of our students and staff members.
