Webb awarded Honeyblue Scholarship

At its June 13 meeting, A.P. Lester — the Martin County Alumni Chapter of Elizabeth City State University — recognized 2024 Riverside High School graduate Justin Webb for his outstanding academic effort.

Webb will receive the $500 William E. Honeyblue Scholarship, offered annually by the A.P. Lester Alumni Chapter.

He maintained a 3.25 average and was a member of the Beta Club.

Webb also excelled as a member of the Riverside football team, receiving All Conference honors as a sophomore in 2021 and as a junior in 2022. In 2023 Justin was selected All- Conference Lineman of the Year.

Because of his success in high school football, Webb will be playing football at ECSU in the fall of 2024.

Webb says he plans to major in Health and Physical Education with Sports Management as his specialty.
