ROSELLE PARK, NJ — The borough grew a little brighter recently, as Union County Connects, a 501(c)(3) charity that advocates for safer trail networks in Union County, unveiled a brand-new mural featuring a historical rendition of the Rahway Valley Railroad Engines. Painted on the Son-Rise Document Solutions building at the outskirts of the borough, the mural welcomes travelers into Roselle Park. The mural was created by a Jersey City-based street artist, known as "Distort", who has composed many murals throughout New Jersey. New York City’s Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB) chair, Arva Rice, officially resigned on Monday in a letter to Mayor Adams, three months after it was revealed that he asked her to step down partly due to her comments on the fatal police shooting of Kawaski Trawick, a mentally ill Bronx man.
