The event was held at Rutgers University in New Brunswick from July 8 through July 12. The program aims to train students to lead STEM activities and share their skills with their peers. NJ man gets prison for violent anti-Semitic crime spree
A 29-year-old Ocean County man who targeted Orthodox Jewish men in a violent one-day rampage over two years ago has been sentenced to 40 years in prison. In February, Dion Marsh of Manchester pleaded guilty to five counts of federal hate crimes and one count of carjacking, for his hours-long spree in parts of Lakewood and Jackson, U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said.
Mother and son from N.J. admit lying about cheap equipment they sold to U.S. military
A mother and son from New Jersey have both pleaded guilty to federal charges stemming from the sale of cheap parts for military equipment to the U.S. Department of Defense. Linda Mika, 73, of Jackson, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of New Jersey said in a news release. Kenneth Mika, 53, of Ewing, pleaded guilty to same charge last month.
