JOHNSON CITY — Rolling Thunder® Chapter 4 Tennessee will hold its annual Ride for Wreaths on Sept. 28 at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. The event will kick off at 11 a.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Ash Avenue and Fifth Street in Johnson City.

Registration for the ride begins at 11 a.m. and includes coffee, refreshments, and a short pre-ride ceremony. The cost is $20 per person, which includes lunch. Following a scenic, escorted ride through the area, participants will return for lunch, music, games, and prizes. The walk-in gate opens at 1 p.m.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Wreaths Across America, with the goal of placing as many wreaths as possible on the graves of heroes at Mountain Home National Cemetery.

For more information, call John at 347-236-9995. To sponsor wreaths, visit wreathsacrossamerica.org/tnoo4op .
