CLEMSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Carter County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee said a missing man from their area could be in the Upstate. A ‘Silver Alert’ was issued for Victor “Timmy” Birchfield, 61, who was seen leaving leaving work on June 20 from Stoney Creek in Elizabethton, TN.
Video: Car crashes into Johnson City animal clinic
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — A vehicle crashed into a Johnson City animal hospital on Monday but no serious injuries were reported. It happened at the Oakwell Animal Hospital on Hamilton Place. According to practice manager Curtus Davis, no animals or people were injured. Davis said the clinic will reopen as soon as possible.
Final defendant in Tri-Cities methampetamines ring pleads guilty in federal court
A Bristol man who the feds say was involved in a scheme responsible for a large percentage of the methamphetamine market in the Tri-Cities area pleaded guilty in federal court last week. Eric Dale Whisman, 32, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of a methamphetamine mixture.

Missing Person’s Vehicle Found in Clemson
Victor Birchfield, 61, from Carter County, Tennessee, located near Johnson City, TN, has been reported missing. Officials said his vehicle was spotted in Clemson. Law enforcement agencies in both states are collaborating on the investigation. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert on June 22 for Birchfield, last seen on June 19. He was wearing an orange t-shirt, grey basketball shorts, leather shoes, and black socks. Birchfield is believed to be driving a silver 2003 Toyota 4Runner with rear damage, Tennessee license plate TN 070-BKZV.
