Sky River Casino looking to expand staff with on-site job fairs

(FOX40.COM) — Sky River Casino in Elk Grove is looking to hire more people as the casino plans for a future expansion.

Sky River Casino is hosting on-site job fairs every third Thursday of each month with its next job fair scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 18.

The casino is hiring for a variety of positions in multiple departments including food and beverage, security, and human resources. Click or tap here to view a full list of job openings.

Interested candidates are urged to apply online to secure an interview spot, as walk-in interviews will happen on a first come, first served basis.

In June, owners of Sky River Casino announced an expansion plan that includes a 300-room hotel, pool, spa and a parking garage with 1,600 spaces. The expansion is set to be constructed in two phases with completion of Phase 2, which includes the hotel, estimated by early 2027.

The expansion is set to bring 400 more jobs to the casino once its complete.

Sky River currently employs about 1,600 team members with more than half of them being with the casino since its doors opened in 2022, according to the casino.
