Elk River City Council makes appointments to city commissions

Appointments were made to several Elk River city commissions by the Elk River City Council on Feb. 5. They are as follows.

• Energy City Commission: Reappointed Barbara Burandt and Matthew Fomby as residential representatives and Anthony Miller as energy-related business representative.

• Heritage Preservation Commission: Reappointed Zachary Griffiths.

• Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission: Reappointed Jim Hecker as senior center representative; appointed Tonya Henderson as an at-large representative and Jacob Kotzian and Michael Zeman as turf representatives.

• Parks and Recreation Commission: Reappointed Dave Anderson.

• Planning Commission: Reappointed Tony Mauren and Robert Rydberg.

• Utilities Commission: Reappointed Paul Bell.
