Toilet-papering job at residence was no laughing matter

    2024-06-16

A 54-year-old Elk River man called on the night of June 6 to report four vehicles with juveniles had just toilet papered his residence in the 13000 block of Olson Street and thrown flour on his son’s vehicle.

The complainant was concerned for his wife, who has a severe gluten allergy. An officer responded to the area, gacke reported. The complainant stated one vehicle was a black BMW two-door and another was an old burgundy Ford Explorer, but he was unable to see the other two cars well enough to identify make or model.

Symptoms of an allergic reaction to gluten include but are not limited to swelling, itching or irritation of the mouth, throat and skin to difficulty breathing to life-threatening anaphylaxis, according to the Mayo Clinic website.
