A camper caught fire while traveling on Interstate 35 near Elkhart Thursday evening, resulting in northbound traffic coming to a complete stop.

Footage from the Iowa Department of Transportation showed a Jayco camper going up in flames while parked on the side of the interstate. As traffic passed by on the right side of the road, people could be seen detaching the trailer from a truck as the flames spread.

After several minutes, fire crews arrived to extinguish the fire. Only the frame of the trailer remained once the fire was out.

Nobody was injured as a result of the fire and no cause has been determined, officials told KCCI .
