Two-vehicle accident with rollover on Route 50 injures drivers
PENNSBORO, W.Va. — A two-vehicle accident on Route 50 westbound between the Pennsboro exits resulted in serious injuries to both drivers early Monday morning. The Pennsboro Volunteer Fire Department was alerted at 7:55 a.m., along with the Ellenboro and Harrisville Volunteer Fire Departments, to respond to the crash, which involved a rollover. Harrisville Truck 3, already in the vicinity, was the first to arrive on the scene.

UPDATE: Fundraiser held to benefit Pleasants Co. deputy
ST. MARYS, W.Va. (WTAP) - UPDATE 7-26-24 6:40 p.m. Almost $2,000 were raised for Deputy Rhodes according to Subway Store Manager Beth Ramey. They received $955 in the donation jar and the owners William “Doc” Holistar and wife Kristy Holistar made a donation of $1,000 based off of the proceeds made during the fundraiser.
