Deputies: 1 dead, 2 injured after Bradenton nightclub shooting
BRADENTON, Fla. — A man was killed and two other people are hospitalized after a nightclub shooting in Bradenton early Sunday morning. The Manatee County Sheriff's Office responded to gunshots fired around 2 a.m. near the Touch of Class Lounge in Bradenton. Deputies said a 30-year-old man was lying in the parking lot after he was shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Central Florida Deputy Injured by Fleeing Suspect Released from Hospital
A Central Florida deputy was released from the hospital after he suffered a serious injury from a fleeing suspect. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office announced that Deputy Kalin Hall has been released from Tampa General Hospital. Deputy Hall was seriously injured on July 5th in Tampa when he was rammed by a fleeing suspect.
Tampa Bay Area Under Heat Advisory, Highs Up to 111 Degrees Pose Health Risks
The National Weather Service in Tampa has issued a heat advisory for large portion of southwest and west central Florida, cautioning residents about rising temperatures that are expected to feel as high as 111 degrees due to high humidity. According to the National Weather Service, this advisory is in effect from noon to 6 PM EDT today, impacting areas including Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Sarasota.

Sarasota restaurant space on the market for $2.2 million
Heart of glass: A Chilean glass processing company has bought land in Collier County and plans to build a $25 million, 100,000-square-foot processing plant. Dialum Glass brought the property just east of Arthrex Manufacturing in the Ave Maria planned community for $2.5 million, according to county records. This will be Dialum’s first U.S. finishing factory. According to developer Barron Collier Co., site preparation on the 10 acres has already begun, with a groundbreaking expected early next year. Dialum is expected to expand the facility by up to 80,000 square feet at a future date, says Barron Collier. In addition to manufacturing, the factory will also serve as a showroom for homeowners and window contractors to see the applications and make custom orders. Family-run Dialum was founded in 1987. According to the statement, it buys ready-made sheets of glass with different features from global suppliers and applies laminates and treatments. Its products include impact glass; fireproof and bulletproof glass; anti-slip and shower glass; lacquered glass; and privacy glass.

Saturday’s thunderstorms widely scattered on the Suncoast. SRQ only reported 0.02″ while the east side of Sarasota picked up 1.47″. This average July weather pattern, with typical Rainy Season afternoon storms and highs close to average, continues Sunday and the coming workweek. The normal high for July 7th is 91°. We also have a Heat Advisory in effect Sunday, so remember to stay hydrated and try to get out of the heat. Rain chances move up and down for the week, but every day has a chance. Keep an eye to the sky and move indoors if you hear thunder.
St. Petersburg Woman Injured by Falling Tree Branch, Emergency Services Promptly Respond
Early Saturday morning in St. Petersburg, an unfortunate incident occurred when a woman was injured by a falling tree branch. According to FOX 13 News, the incident began when a large oak tree branch broke off, striking two houses around 6 a.m. The same morning, a woman stepped outside to inspect the damage and was struck by a second, larger branch.
