Construction of Altura Bayshore Tower in Tampa Complete
The Ronto Group announced that construction of its 23-story Altura Bayshore luxury condominium tower overlooking Tampa’s Bayshore Boulevard has been completed. Designed by Curts Gaines Hall Jones Architects and built by Connor & Gaskins Unlimited, the tower includes 67 typical residences ranging from 2,176 to 3,575 square feet under air, and six penthouse residences with approximately 3,500 square feet under air and multiple balconies and terraces.
Tampa Fire Rescue issues warning after responding to several firework-related incidents
TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Fire Rescue says they responded to several calls over fires, injuries and property damage caused by fireworks during Independence Day celebrations. In a news release, the agency said these incidents "serve as a reminder of the dangers posed by amateur fireworks operators and the importance of leaving displays to trained professionals."

NOAA hurricane hunters fly into Beryl
NOAA hurricane hunters on Friday flew into Tropical Storm Beryl. The crew collected important data to send back to the hurricane center, which will be used to update models. The flight crew is made up of NOAA meteorologists and scientists. They fly through the eyewall of hurricanes using one of three planes.
