OBITUARY: Lorraine Klein Rosa

Lorraine Klein Rosa, 62, of Ellerbe, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Feb. 1, 1962, in Norwalk, Connecticut, daughter of the late Robert Klein Sr. and Gloria LaMadeleine Klein.

Lorraine was an excellent cook and enjoyed yardwork. She also loved baking cakes for not only family but others upon request, no matter how many. Being independent and hardworking, she would tackle doing home repairs, even plumbing and helping her son with sheetrock. She could also crochet blankets for her family. Lorraine will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Richard “Rich” Rosa of the home; sons, Eric Simpson (Jennifer) of Middletown, Connecticut, and Gary Simpson of Durham; stepchildren, Kyle Rosa (Katie) of Orlando, Florida, and Kristen Rosa of Maryland; grandchildren, Eric Simpson, Julia Simpson, Tucker Rosa and Dayton Omicioli; siblings, Bob Klein of Fayetteville, George Klein of Waterbury, Connecticut, Sammi Sullo of Florida, Matthew Klein of Virginia, and David Klein; and her beloved dog, Penny.

All services will be held private by the family.
