Excelsior Springs driver dies day after head-on collision
CLAY CO., Mo. (KCTV) - An Excelsior Springs driver who was fighting for his life following an early-week collision has lost his battle according to law enforcement officials. The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that just after 11:55 a.m. on Monday, July 22, emergency crews were called to the area of Dunbar Ave. and Ley St., south of Kibler Park, with reports of a 2-vehicle collision.
Polo resident charged with felony third-degree assault in Grundy County
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of a Polo resident on charges of felony third-degree assault. Timothy Ray Harding, 40, was taken into custody by the Saint Joseph Police Department on July 26. The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office was set to transfer Harding on the same day.
Driver seriously injured after motorcycle crash on I-35 near Liberty Triangle
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A driver was seriously injured after he lost control of his motorcycle on I-35 south of the Liberty Triangle before it flipped over. The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 12:05 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, emergency crews were called to the area of northbound I-35 and Highway 152, south of the Liberty Triangle, with reports of a single-vehicle collision.
KC man remains behind bars on $5 million bond after Clay Co. indictment
CLAY CO., Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City man has been indicted by a Clay County grand jury as evidence in a lengthy investigation linked him to a fatal 2020 attempted robbery. Clay County, Missouri, District Court records indicate that on Friday, July 26, Alvin J. Horrison, 33, of Kansas City, Mo., was indicted by a grand jury on murder in the second degree. He was also charged with four counts of armed criminal action, endangering the welfare of a child, assault and attempted robbery.
