    EOP to host Garden STEMMED Club on Tuesdays

    ELMIRA, N.Y. ( WETM ) – The Economic Opportunity Program will be hosting a weekly Garden STEMMED Club for students at the Ernie Davis Community Center.

    The program will begin on Tuesday, July 19, and will take place from 11 a.m. to noon for students in first through twelfth grade. The program is a garden-based 4-H club that promotes sustainable gardening and will take place only on Tuesdays.

    Stories with Music comes to Southern Tier libraries

    During this program, students will learn how to plant, take care of and harvest fruits and vegetables, as well as be provided with awareness about families who experience food insecurities. The program will also provide support to students and families who experience food insecurities.

    If you want to sign your students up for the program, you can register them by calling 607-734-6174 ext. 314 or ext. 228.
