    Elmira man sentenced on multiple charges including assault

    ELMIRA, N.Y. ( WETM ) – An Elmira man has been sentenced to serve time in state prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including assault.

    According to the Schuyler County District Attorney’s Office, Justis C. Moffe, 29, was sentenced to serve two years in state prison plus one and a half years post-release supervision on July 25 by Hon. Matthew C. Hayden.

    Canisteo man sentenced on criminal contempt charges

    Moffe was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to assault in the second degree (class D felony), criminal impersonation in the second degree and resisting arrest (class A misdemeanors) on April 19, 2024, in Schuyler County Court.
