CHICAGO — Two men have been handed lengthy prison sentences for carrying out a violent vehicular hijacking in March 2021. One of the men, accused of firing shots during the carjacking while on pretrial release for a gun case, was sentenced on Monday to 17 years. His accomplice was sentenced to ten years in April.
