Chicago man charged with armed carjacking of 83-year-old woman
CHICAGO - A Chicago man has been charged with carjacking an 83-year-old woman at gunpoint last month in Calumet Heights on the South Side. Trevon Robinson, 19, was arrested on Tuesday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, according to a statement from Chicago police. He was charged with a felony count of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm.

Animal care staff froze a variety of the bears’ favorite fruits in red, white, and blue ice blocks. The bears, who can be seen at the Zoo’s Great Bear Wilderness, seemed to enjoy their patriotic treats as much as their fellow Americans love the 4th July holiday. They are at the Zoo due to their tragic past, as in November 2023, the Zoo provided a forever home for the two young bears after they were orphaned in Anchorage, Alaska.
